Johnson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wichita State University with a degree in Social Work. She completed specialized training in Addictions and was a Certified Addictions Counselor with the State of Kansas for over 17 years. In 1990, she noticed a lack of services for women in the addiction field which prompted her to create the first recovery center in Wichita exclusively for women. She owned and operated The Lighthouse of Wichita, Inc. for over 14 years. In 2002, she began a spiritual mentorship with Dr. Donald Schnell and soon became a student in his College of Transformational Hypnotherapy. She completed a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy in 2006. She decided to sell her former business and started Lightworks Transformational Hypnotherapy, LLC in 2004. She is a member in good standing and a Certified Hypnotherapist with The National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also currently the Associate Dean of The College of Transformational Hypnotherapy. Debi is a warm and sympathetic therapist with a heart, and has devoted her life to helping others reach their true potential. She will share briefly about hypnosis and then give the audience an experience of how hypnosis can help you to connect with your divine nature. She will present a lecture on hypnotherapy and the many benefits it can offer.
